Rocke solid to take victory in Kingussie - 21/08/07
.At the half way stage of the 1st year of the UK Cities Cup Murray Strain and Helen Palmer lead the way but they did not have it all their on way in Kingussie. The full story, results and views are available here

Strain extends his lead at the top in Glasgow - 12/07/07
.The UK Cities Cup headed north to Glasgow for the 2nd race of the series and the 1st that was organised exclusively for the series. A new map awaited the competitors thanks to local orienteer Patrick Walder. A full report, results and photos here

Race 3 details released & entries now open - 19/06/07
While the entries for the 2nd race in Glasgow on the 8th july are coming in, the final details of the 3rd race have been finalised. The sprint format race hosted by the village of Kingussie and organised by BASOC will take place on the 8th August, the rest day of the Scottish 6 Day. Entries are again via oentries.com so while your entering for the Glasgow race you may aswell enter both!! Full details here

Inov8 UKCC Race 2 - Entries open for All-New Glasgow Street Race - 12/06/07
The UK Cities Cup rolls into Glasgow on the 8th July for the 2nd installment of urban racing. A new ISSOm standard map has been put together exclusively for the event using some of the former Park World Tour map plus extensions. Full details of the event including entries here

Warwick Date change for access to Castle! - 12/06/07
The details of the races continue to change slightly but all in the name of getting better racing! The Warwick Town Race, in conjunction with the 'Warwick Words' book festival, has been moved to the 7th October to allow the organiser access to the castle. 'That must add attraction to the race' said the organiser...and we agree!

Inov8 UKCC Race 1 - Entries open for York Park Race - 06/05/07
The first race of the series is drawing near and entries are now open. Full details on the event including how to enter here . remember, to qualify for the series you must enter the Mens/Womens open class. Entries close on the 15th May so get your entries in now!

Oxford City Race completes the 2007 Series - 19/04/07
we are pleased to announce the inclusion of the Oxford City Race in the UK Cities Cup for 2007. This was a very popular race in 2006 and the organisers are hoping to build on that in 2007. For more details of the race visit www.cityrace.org.uk This will be the final addition to the series for this year and the Oxford race will be a great way to cap the 1st year off.

New press releases available now - 19/04/07
Now that the series has been finalised and sponsors confirmed we have put together 2 press releases to let people know what is going on! One press release is aimed at the orienteering world using funny orienteering speak and the other is aimed at the general/outdoor world to show that this series is not exclusively for elite orienteers. Please feel free to use either of these as much as possible! Both are available from the press release section here...

JK & British Sprint races out - Lincoln & Warrick races in...
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to pull the JK and British Sprint races out of the series for 2007. In their place we have lined up two superb events to be held in Lincoln (September) and Warwick (October) meaning the 1st race of the series will The York Park Race on 28th May 2007.
